An intelligent pedestrian crossing system that significantly increases pedestrian safety and provides drivers with immediate information about a person being present on the road. The set operates completely without grid power – it uses solar and wind energy, which is safe, unlimited, and environmentally friendly.

How does the active crossing work?

The dual, narrow-beam motion sensor activates the D-6 sign only when a pedestrian approaches the crossing. The radio channel synchronizes the activation of signs on both sides of the roadway, ensuring a clear and consistent warning signal for drivers.

Lighting Pole and LED Luminaire Dedicated to Pedestrian Crossings

The hybrid pole features an asymmetric LED street luminaire (left- or right-side version), specifically adapted for pedestrian crossings. The luminaire illuminates only the crossing and does not dazzle drivers, which significantly improves pedestrian visibility.

The system uses Polish-made luminaires that meet strict lighting standards and hold ZETOM or ENEC certification.

The hybrid pole, together with the structure for photovoltaic panels and the bracket for the wind turbine, is adapted for: “Wind zone I, II or III according to PN-EN 1991-1-4”. The main structural elements such as the steel pole with the frame for photovoltaic panels and the wind turbine are certified by an independent, notified certification body and are structurally calculated for safety with respect to loads related to the weight of the photovoltaic system and the wind pressure area for the planned installation site.

The hybrid pole is manufactured in accordance with the European approval: PN EN 1090 and is equipped with a DWU – Declaration of Performance for every structural component.

Operating time of the active, safe pedestrian crossing with hybrid lighting:
10–12 hours/day (full power), battery capacity for a minimum of 4 consecutive cloudy, rainy and windless days
– minimum 40 hours of operation without sunlight. Each of our lamps has the capability to set 5 periodic operating modes (adjustable % power intensity of the LED luminaire).

Our systems comply with the GUIDELINES FOR PROPER LIGHTING OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS – Models and standards recommended by the Minister responsible for transport: WR-D-41-4, officially recommended by the Ministry of Infrastructure on July 20, 2018.
