How does the solar hybrid lighting system work?

The system consists of PV modules and, optionally, a wind turbine that generate electrical energy. This energy is stored in high-capacity batteries. After dusk, a dusk sensor activates the energy-efficient LED luminaires, while the MPPT charge controller manages runtime, output power, and protects the batteries from overcharging and deep discharge.

The hybrid system outperforms standard solar setups because it draws power from two independent energy sources. During extended periods of low sunlight, wind energy compensates for the deficit. This enables stable and year-round operation, which cannot be achieved by PV-only systems.
