Hybrid Lighting Systems for Billboards and Advertising – Autonomous LED Illumination
Hybrid lighting systems for billboards and advertising are advanced technological solutions designed for efficient, stable and energy-saving illumination of outdoor advertising surfaces. They are ideal for locations where there is no access to the electrical grid or where bringing power to the site would be prohibitively expensive. By combining solar and wind power, hybrid systems ensure operation in all weather conditions.
Lighting for all types of billboards and advertising
The systems are designed for illuminating:
- large-format advertisements along expressways and highways,
- urban billboards mounted on steel structures,
- small information boards and advertising panels,
- single and double-sided banners,
- lightbox advertising displays,
- advertising in difficult terrain such as forests, road shoulders and industrial zones.
Each hybrid lamp is completely autonomous and ready for operation immediately after installation, with no need for technical designs or approvals from the power utility.

Operation in harsh conditions – minimum 40 hours of lighting
Hybrid systems are engineered to ensure:
- A minimum of 40 hours of full-power operation without sun or wind,
- Reliable performance during extended periods of bad weather,
- Consistent functionality during winter months.
The battery capacity and panel efficiency allow operation through four consecutive cloudy, rainy and windless days.
Mounting system (optional)
The standard set does not include a mounting structure. We offer optional:
- Steel, galvanized mounting frames installed on the top of the billboard,
- Ground-mounted, free-standing structures.
The mounting system is selected based on the size of the advertisement – from small boards to large double-sided 18 m² billboards.

Mounting systems available on request:

- Mounting system for the photovoltaic panel installed on the top of the billboard.
- Mounting system for the photovoltaic panel attached to the side surfaces of the billboard.
- Mounting system for the wind turbine attached to the side surfaces of the billboard.
- The configuration of the system can be customized according to specific client or project requirements.
- The batteries are recommended to be placed inside a battery box installed underground. This prevents exposure to high summer temperatures or very low winter temperatures. The boxes are waterproof and theft resistant. They are also very easy to replace during later maintenance. Above-ground installation or installation on the billboard structure is also possible.
- All components are certified and compliant with relevant standards.
