38W Hybrid Street Lamp with a 600W Wind Turbine

Hybrid LED Street Light 38W

38W Hybrid LED Street Light  with 600W Wind Turbine – powerful lighting for roads, streets and pedestrian crossings

The 38W Hybrid LED Street Light  with a 600W wind turbine (Ø 1850 mm) is a modern lighting system designed for year-round, autonomous illumination of streets, roads, pedestrian crossings, walkways and public areas. With its dual energy source – sun and wind – the lamp operates without any electrical grid connection, providing full energy independence and extremely low operating costs.

Hybrid system – reliable operation in all weather conditions

  • Photovoltaic panel charges the battery using solar energy during the day
  • 600W wind turbine with a diameter of 1850 mm increases energy production during low sunlight
  • Intelligent controller automatically switches the light on after dusk
  • The system automatically adjusts the light output depending on weather and environmental conditions

Key advantages of the 38W hybrid street light

  • LED power: 38W – energy-efficient and effective street illumination
  • Luminous flux: > 6,100 lm (before the glass) – strong, uniform lighting ideal for roads and pedestrian crossings
  • Full energy autonomy – no electricity costs and no grid connection required
  • Large-diameter wind turbine provides efficient energy generation at low wind speeds
  • Reliable operation during rain, snow, wind and low temperatures
  • Minimal maintenance requirements and long battery lifespan
  • Eco-friendly solution aligned with smart city principles
  • Enhanced safety for pedestrians and drivers

Applications of 38W hybrid street lights with a 600W turbine

  • street and local road lighting
  • pedestrian crossings and intersections

  • locations without access to electrical infrastructure
  • industrial and strategic areas

High-performance wind turbine – essential for winter operation

The integrated 600W wind turbine with a 1850 mm diameter ensures high energy production even at low wind speeds, guaranteeing reliable lighting performance in winter and during extended periods of cloud cover.

Solar Street Light with Wind Turbine

If you are looking for energy independence, a solar street light with a wind turbine is the right choice. It operates fully automatically, without connection to the power grid and often regardless of weather conditions. Explore the BrasiT offer and equip your area with durable hybrid solar-wind street lighting!

How does a solar-wind street light work?

The operation of a street light with a wind turbine is based on the combination of two renewable energy sources: the sun and the wind. During the day, the photovoltaic panel collects solar energy and converts it into electricity. At the same time, the wind turbine can generate additional power even when the sun is behind the clouds. The collected energy is stored in batteries for later use.

At dusk, the twilight sensor automatically turns the light on, and it continues to illuminate throughout the night until the stored energy is depleted. This means many hours of maintenance-free operation, even in challenging weather conditions. A solar street light with a wind turbine is perfect for locations where access to the grid is limited but reliable lighting is essential — for example in parks, along local roads, tourist areas, and private properties.

Solar street lights with wind turbine – independence that pays off

The autonomy of hybrid lighting means no electricity bills and the ability to install lights even in the most remote locations. This is a great solution for municipalities, companies, and property owners who want high-quality lighting with low operating costs.

A solar street light with a wind turbine works reliably all year long. Thanks to the wind turbine, it continues to function even on cloudy or winter days when access to sunlight is limited. In such conditions, the wind ensures the lamp remains charged and operational.

Hybrid solar-wind lighting – an environmentally friendly solution

Hybrid street lights do not emit exhaust gases and produce no noise. Installation does not require significant ground modification, meaning it does not disturb the natural environment. This is particularly important in parks, nature reserves, recreational plots, and quiet zones. By using renewable energy, solar-wind street lighting perfectly supports sustainability strategies adopted by cities, institutions, and businesses.

Simple installation and minimal maintenance

A street light with a wind turbine does not require specialized installation work, a grid connection, or additional infrastructure. All it needs is a stable base, pole and foundation, and proper positioning in relation to the sun and wind. This ensures quick installation and immediate operation.

Maintenance of hybrid street lighting is also easy. Occasionally, simply wipe the solar panel with a soft cloth to remove dust, leaves, and other debris. This small task can significantly improve charging efficiency and extend product lifespan. Just remember to avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the surface of the solar cells.

How long does charging take?

The charging time of a solar-wind street light depends on the intensity of sunlight and wind speed. Under optimal conditions, 4 to 6 hours is enough to fully charge the battery. In less favorable weather, such as cloudy days or low wind, this time may increase. However, thanks to the hybrid design, the lamp continues to store energy — if the sun is not available, the wind takes over. As a result, hybrid street lighting maintains longer and more stable operation.

Hybrid street lighting – an investment that pays back

Although a solar street light with a wind turbine may seem like a larger initial expense, long-term savings are substantial. No electricity costs, no requirement for grid connection, and minimal maintenance — all contribute to a fast return on investment. Additionally, access to environmental subsidies or EU funding further increases the financial benefits.

If you need reliable lighting enhanced by future-ready technology, a solar street light with a wind turbine is the ideal choice. Choose self-sufficient infrastructure from BrasiT!

Notes:

  1. The above system configurations are based on our actual project experience. They are suitable for areas with an average annual peak solar irradiation of 3.5–4 hours per day.The battery capacity is designed to store enough energy for 4 consecutive cloudy or rainy days.
  2. The system configuration can be customized based on the specific requirements of the customer/project and local weather conditions.
  3. The batteries are recommended to be installed underground inside a battery box. This prevents exposure to high summer temperatures and extreme winter cold. They are waterproof and theft-resistant, while also being very easy to replace later in the service life. The battery box can also be mounted above ground or on the lamp pole.
  4. The pole can be customized to meet the customer’s specific requirements.
  5. All components are compliant with required certificates and approvals.
  6. The main structural elements — including the pole with a photovoltaic bracket and the foundation — are certified by an independent, notified certification body. They are safety-tested in terms of load-bearing requirements related to system weight and wind pressure at the intended installation site. The poles are certified according to: PNEN 1090 and EN 40-5 for special load-bearing and construction structures.
Any company that does not possess — or cannot provide — such certificates has no right to sell structures that may endanger public safety and could lead to a structural disaster.
  • The possibility of purchasing an infra-red remote control and Wi-Fi interface with software to program and control the lamps from a distance.
  • Poles can be painted in any colour from the RAL range for an additional price.
