Who is the controller of personal data?
The controller of personal data for the brasit.pl website (hereinafter referred to as the Administrator), i.e. the entity responsible for ensuring the security of your personal data, is:

For what purposes, for how long do we process your personal data, and to whom do we disclose it?
Personal data, i.e. data provided by you in connection with the use of our services, shall be:
- stored on our server and/or on an external server;
- made available to you while using our website;
- used for profiling purposes (profiling is described further in this information notice);
- used to secure your rights as a party to an agreement, for example handling submitted complaints;
- used for marketing activities, for example sending you our commercial information (not applicable to persons under 18 years of age) – sending such information electronically is possible only if you have given your consent thereto (also applicable to persons under 18 years of age);
- used for issuing sales documents;
- stored in documentation (electronic or paper) relating to the performance of agreements, accounting, and tax documentation;
- transferred to the following entities: our subcontractors, companies providing marketing, IT, profiling, accounting, legal, debt collection, payment, banking and other supporting services requiring such transfer;
- used for establishing, defending and legally pursuing claims by you or by us;
- used for creating summaries, analyses and statistics for our internal purposes, in particular reporting, marketing research, planning the development of sales of goods and services, development works in IT systems, and creating statistical models.
We may process the above data for the aforementioned purposes because it is necessary to fulfil our legal obligations (e.g. settlements with contractors, tax obligations), conduct our marketing and statistical activities, which are in our economic interest, as well as defend our rights arising from the agreement concluded with you.
The above data shall be deleted by us upon expiry of 3 months from the cessation of the last processing purpose for which the data was used. In the meantime, we shall cease processing such data for the following purposes within the following time limits:
- data used for the performance of a concluded agreement shall cease to be processed for this purpose within 3 months from the completion or other termination of the agreement;
- data processed for the performance of our legal obligation shall cease to be processed within 3 months from the expiry of such obligation;
- data processed for the protection of our legal interest shall cease to be processed within 3 months from the cessation of the legal interest in processing, whereas data used for establishing, defending and legally pursuing claims by you or by us shall cease to be processed within 3 months from the limitation period of your claims or within 3 months from the expiry of our claims – depending on which occurs later;
- data used for our marketing activities shall cease to be processed within 18 months from their last use (this does not apply where you have expressly consented to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes);
- data used for correspondence purposes in specific matters shall cease to be processed within 3 months from the last correspondence concerning the matter;
- data used for sending commercial information electronically to you (provided that you have consented thereto) shall cease to be processed within 60 months from the last contact with you.
Your personal data obtained from other sources
If you make payments or if we make payments (e.g. invoice payments) through a bank or payment institution, we shall obtain information regarding the account from which and the institution through which you made the payment or to which account and institution we made the payment. Such data shall be processed for the purpose of verifying whether the payment was correctly made, accounting and settlement thereof, and where necessary, also for making refunds.
We may also obtain your data from publicly available registers, records, etc. for the purposes described above (conclusion/performance of agreements, fulfilment of statutory accounting/archive obligations, pursuing claims by us or defending against your claims or claims of third parties, marketing, conducting correspondence with you). We may process such data for the above purposes because it is necessary for the performance of the agreement concluded with you, fulfilment of our legal obligations (e.g. tax obligations), as well as protection of our rights arising from the agreement concluded with you and for the purposes of creating statistics and analyses, which are in our economic interest.
Data, including personal data, collected automatically by our IT systems
The IT system used by the website www.brasit.pl automatically collects data in logs related to the device used by you when connecting to www.brasit.pl. Such data is collected solely for statistical purposes and concerns: device type, operating system, web browser type, screen resolution, color depth, IP address, internet service provider, or the address from which access to www.brasit.pl was made, and is used solely in the process of optimizing www.brasit.pl in order to ensure maximum convenience of use.
This data is never combined with data provided by you and constitutes solely material for statistical analysis and mechanisms for correcting system errors.
We may process such data for the above purposes because it is necessary to improve the quality and effectiveness of our activities.

Only those BrasiT employees who have been trained in accordance with the personal data security policy and have signed appropriate confidentiality obligations requiring them to protect such data have access to your personal data.

Technical and organizational measures ensuring protection of processed data have been implemented in accordance with our risk assessment, taking into account the requirements provided for in the Regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of 29 April 2004 regarding personal data processing documentation and technical and organizational conditions to be met by devices and IT systems used for personal data processing (Journal of Laws No. 100, item 1024), as well as the guidelines of the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection.
The Administrator has fulfilled all legal obligations regarding personal data protection.
Please note that your consent is not required for us to process your personal data where:
- you request that we conclude an agreement and for this purpose provide us with your data;
- it is necessary for the performance of the agreement concluded between you and us;
- it is necessary for us to fulfil our legal obligations, for example issuing invoices or maintaining accounting and tax documentation;
- it is necessary for us to conduct marketing activities, for example direct marketing or displaying content tailored to your profile (does not apply to persons under 18 years of age).
If you decide not to provide us with data necessary for the performance of the above activities, we shall not be able to carry them out.

BrasiT carefully selects its business partners and equally carefully verifies links placed on the website. However, BrasiT is not responsible for the privacy protection standards and policies applied by the owners, operators or administrators of such websites. Therefore, we recommend that you independently verify each of our partners whose links are available on our website and independently decide whether you wish to entrust them with your personal data for processing.

We ensure that in agreements concluded by us, all entities entrusted with processing your data on our behalf (e.g. accounting office) are obliged to comply with the rules and standards resulting from applicable legal provisions.
