Hybrid Lighting of Municipal Roads and Hazardous Areas – Jenin, Bogdaniec Municipality

In the village of Jenin, within the Bogdaniec Municipality, an investment project was implemented involving the illumination of municipal roads and particularly hazardous areas using modern solutions based on renewable energy sources. The aim of the project was to improve road traffic safety and increase visibility at critical infrastructure points.

As part of the implementation, 40 W hybrid LED street lanterns, model HLU-40W/400W/400W/6m, were installed. The solution combines photovoltaic power supply with wind energy, ensuring stable and independent lighting operation throughout the year, including periods of limited sunlight.

The lanterns were mounted on round, conical steel poles made of S355 steel, with a weight of approximately 280 kg. The structures were designed and manufactured in accordance with PN-EN 1090, ensuring high strength, durability, and operational safety.

Each pole was installed on a prefabricated F200 V43 foundation weighing approximately 520 kg, providing adequate stability even in difficult ground conditions and under strong wind loads.

The hybrid pole structure is designed for operation in Wind Zone I, in accordance with PN-EN 1991-1-4. A mounting frame for the photovoltaic panel and a bracket for the LED luminaire with 360° rotation around the pole axis were applied, allowing optimal adjustment to local conditions.

The project implemented in Jenin is an example of the effective use of hybrid street lighting to improve safety on municipal roads, reduce operating costs, and implement modern, environmentally friendly technologies in public infrastructure.
