Hybrid Lighting of an Advertising Billboard – McDonald’s, Jawornik
In the town of Jawornik, an investment project was carried out involving the installation of autonomous, hybrid lighting for a freestanding advertising structure – a McDonald’s restaurant billboard. The purpose of the project was to ensure constant visibility of the advertising medium after dark, regardless of access to the power grid.
A ready-made hybrid autonomous power supply system was used for the implementation, equipped with two LED luminaires with a power output of 2 × 20 W. The system combines energy from photovoltaic panels and a wind turbine, ensuring stable and reliable operation under variable weather conditions.
The installed LED luminaires provide uniform and precise illumination of the advertising surface, improving the readability of the marketing message during both evening and nighttime hours. The lighting was selected to avoid glare for drivers traveling near the site.
The hybrid billboard lighting at this location:
- increases the visibility of the McDonald’s restaurant advertisement around the clock,
- operates fully autonomously – without connection to a 230 V power supply,
- reduces operating costs and energy consumption,
- ensures continuous operation even during periods of limited sunlight,
- meets modern and environmentally friendly standards of outdoor advertising.
The completed hybrid billboard lighting system in Jawornik is an effective, energy-efficient, and reliable solution for freestanding advertising media, especially in locations with limited access to energy infrastructure.
