Hybrid Lighting of the Volunteer Fire Department and Sports Complex – Antoniów, Ciepielów Municipality

In the village of Antoniów, within the Ciepielów municipality, the delivery and installation of 30 W hybrid LED street lights was completed at the Volunteer Fire Department and the sports complex. The investment plays a key role in ensuring resident safety and proper operation of public infrastructure after dark.

Lighting in the area of the fire station provides excellent visibility of the maneuvering yard, access roads, and exit zones, which is particularly important during night rescue operations and emergency departures. At the sports complex, the lights enable safe use of the facility in the evening, improve spatial orientation, and reduce the risk of injuries and hazardous incidents.

Hybrid street lights HLU-30W/400W/890W/6m were used, equipped with LED luminaires with a light color temperature of 4000 K and a luminous flux of 6187 lm. Luminaires mounted at a height of 6 meters provide uniform area illumination without glare for pedestrians, athletes, or drivers.

The lights are equipped with photovoltaic panels with a total power of 890 W, manufactured using Bifacial Half-Cut technology. Bifacial panels increase energy yield by utilizing reflected radiation, ensuring stable system operation even during periods of reduced sunlight.

The installation is supplemented by a 400 W wind turbine equipped with three carbon fiber blades. This material provides high strength, low weight, and quiet, smooth operation, which is especially important near buildings and public facilities. The turbine effectively supports energy production during sunless periods, increasing the energy independence of the lighting system.

Energy is stored in LiFePO4 batteries, characterized by long service life, high resistance to low temperatures, and stable operating parameters. LiFePO4 technology ensures safe use, no memory effect, and reliable operation even in winter conditions.

The steel pole structures were manufactured in accordance with EN 1090 and adapted for operation in wind zone I according to PN-EN 1991-1-4. The applied Polish-made LED luminaires, holding ENEC certifications, guarantee high light quality, durability, and failure-free operation for many years.

The lighting system provides a minimum of 10 hours of daily operation at full power, while the energy storage capacity allows for multi-day autonomous operation without connection to the power grid.

The project in Antoniów is an example of a modern, ecological, and fully independent lighting system that effectively supports the safety of rescue operations and comfortable use of sports infrastructure by local residents.
