Hybrid Road and Tourist Lighting – Baranów, Chotcza Municipality

In the village of Baranów, within the Chotcza municipality, the delivery and installation of 30 W hybrid LED street lights intended for local road lighting and tourist traffic service areas was completed. The investment significantly improved road user safety and comfort of movement after dark in public spaces.

The applied hybrid street lights provide stable and uniform illumination of traffic routes, road shoulders, and areas used by residents and tourists. This solution is particularly effective in areas with dispersed development, where access to conventional power infrastructure is limited or economically unjustified.

The project utilized modern hybrid street lights HLU-30W/400W/890W/6m, equipped with LED luminaires with a light color temperature of 4000 K and a luminous flux of 6187 lm. Luminaires mounted at a height of 6 meters ensure effective illumination of roadways and public spaces without glare for drivers and pedestrians.

The street lights are equipped with photovoltaic panels with a total power of 890 W, manufactured using Bifacial Half-Cut technology. The bifacial panel design enables energy generation also from reflected radiation, increasing system efficiency and operational stability under variable weather conditions.

The installation is supplemented by 400 W wind turbines, equipped with three carbon fiber blades. The use of high-quality turbines guarantees quiet operation, high efficiency, and resistance to long-term loads. These are not low-quality, noisy solutions – the applied turbines provide stable energy production without acoustic nuisance, which is particularly important near residential buildings and recreational areas.

Electrical energy is stored in LiFePO4 batteries, characterized by very long service life, high resistance to low temperatures, and stable operating parameters. LiFePO4 technology ensures safe use and reliable system operation also during winter conditions.

The steel pole structures were manufactured in accordance with EN 1090 and adapted for operation in wind zone I according to PN-EN 1991-1-4. Polish-made LED luminaires with ENEC certifications were applied, guaranteeing high light quality, durability, and long-term, failure-free operation.

The lighting system provides a minimum of 10 hours of daily operation at full power, while the energy storage capacity allows for up to 60 hours of autonomous operation without access to solar energy. As a result, road and tourist lighting in Baranów remains fully functional regardless of weather conditions.
