Hybrid lighting of tourist service areas – Ciepielów Municipality

In the Ciepielów Municipality, for the purpose of lighting tourist service areas implemented by the Iłżanka River Municipal Association, modern hybrid LED lamps combining solar and wind energy were applied. This solution improves the safety of public space users and increases comfort when using infrastructure after dark.

Hybrid LED street lights with a power rating of 30 W were installed, model HLU-30W/400W/890W/6m, emitting light with a color temperature of 4000 K and a luminous flux of 6187 lm. The LED luminaires were mounted at a height of 6 meters, ensuring uniform illumination of pedestrian routes and recreational areas.

Each street light is equipped with photovoltaic panels with a total power of 890 W and a 400 W wind turbine with blades made of carbon fiber. This combination guarantees stable energy generation even during periods of limited sunlight. The turbine operates quietly, without nuisance to the surroundings, and an additional blue LED indicator signals operation at height, enhancing visibility and informational value of the installation.

The pole structure is made of S235 steel and meets the requirements of the PN-EN 1090 construction standard. The poles are designed for operation in Wind Zone I in accordance with PN-EN 1991-1-4, ensuring adequate strength and operational safety.

The lighting system was designed with a high level of energy independence in mind. The operating time of the lamps is at least 12 hours per day at full power, and the battery capacity allows for up to 60 hours of autonomous operation under cloudy, rainy, and windless conditions. Additionally, 5 operating modes can be configured, allowing adjustment of light intensity during nighttime hours.

The applied Polish-made LED luminaires with ENEC certification meet stringent quality and lighting standards. The implementation in the Ciepielów Municipality is an example of a modern, ecological, and durable solution that supports tourism development, reduces operating costs, and minimizes environmental impact.
