Hybrid road lighting powered by RES – Łempinek, Raciąż Municipality

In the village of Łempinek, located in the Masovian Voivodeship, Płońsk County, within the Raciąż Municipality, an investment project was completed involving the reconstruction of a municipal road with the use of modern and innovative street lighting.

As part of the project, hybrid LED street lights powered by renewable energy sources (RES) were installed. The applied model was HLU-30W/300W/400W/6m – EKO, designed for energy-efficient lighting of local roads and areas with dispersed development.

The lighting system provides 8–10 hours of operation per day at full power. The applied energy storage units ensure a minimum of 40 hours of autonomy, corresponding to up to four consecutive cloudy, rainy, and windless days without access to renewable energy.

The street lights are equipped with a 5-level operating mode programming function, allowing percentage-based adjustment of luminous flux during nighttime hours. This solution enables optimization of energy consumption and adaptation of lighting levels to actual road user needs.

The use of hybrid technology allowed project implementation without the need to expand the power grid infrastructure, reducing operating costs and environmental impact.

The implemented lighting system represents a modern, ecological, and functional solution that effectively improves road traffic safety and enhances the comfort of residents of the village of Łempinek.
