Hybrid municipal road lighting powered by RES – Druchowo, Raciąż Municipality

In the village of Druchowo, located in the Masovian Voivodeship, Płońsk County, within the Raciąż Municipality, an investment project was completed involving the reconstruction of a municipal road together with the installation of modern, innovative street lighting.

As part of the project, hybrid LED street lights powered by renewable energy sources (RES) were installed. The applied model was HLU-30W/300W/400W/6m – EKO, designed for efficient lighting of local roads and areas with dispersed development.

The lighting system provides 8–10 hours of daily operation at full power. The capacity of the installed batteries ensures a minimum of 40 hours of autonomous operation, corresponding to up to four consecutive cloudy, rainy, and windless days without access to solar energy.

The street lights are equipped with a 5-level operating mode programming function, allowing percentage adjustment of the LED luminaire luminous flux during nighttime hours. This solution enables rational energy management and adaptation of lighting levels to actual road user needs.

The use of hybrid technology allowed project implementation without the need to expand the power grid, reducing operating costs and environmental impact.

The implemented lighting system represents a modern, ecological, and functional solution, improving road traffic safety and the comfort of residents of Druchowo.
