Hybrid lighting of the school area – Zbijów Mały, Mirów municipality
At School and Kindergarten Complex No. 1 in the village of Zbijów Mały, within the Mirów municipality, an investment was carried out involving the delivery and installation of hybrid LED street lamps, intended to improve the safety of children, youth, and residents using the school infrastructure after dark.
Modern hybrid LED street lighting poles with a power of 30 W were installed, model HLU-30W/400W/890W/6m, providing stable and uniform illumination of pedestrian routes, access roads, and the area surrounding the school. LED luminaires with a light colour of 4000 K and a luminous flux of 6187 lm ensure good visibility and natural rendering of the surroundings.
The lighting poles are equipped with photovoltaic panels with a total power of 890 W, manufactured using Bifacial Half-Cut technology, enabling energy generation from both direct and reflected radiation. This results in higher system efficiency and reliable lighting operation even during periods of reduced sunlight.
The installation is complemented by a 400 W wind turbine with blades made of carbon fibre. The applied design ensures quiet operation, which is particularly important in the vicinity of educational facilities, eliminating disturbing noise typical of low-quality turbines.
The lighting poles are made of structural steel in accordance with the EN 1090 standard and adapted for operation in Wind Zone I according to PN-EN 1991-1-4. The entire system is based on components manufactured in Poland that meet stringent quality standards, and the LED luminaires hold ENEC certification, confirming the safety and durability of the applied solutions.
The hybrid system enables lighting operation for a minimum of 10 hours per day at full power and provides up to 60 hours of autonomy without access to solar energy. Additionally, it allows configuration of five operating modes, enabling adjustment of light intensity during night-time hours.
The project in Zbijów Mały is an example of a modern and ecological approach to school area lighting, combining user safety, energy efficiency, and high workmanship quality.
