Hybrid Lighting at the Cyclist Service Area – Masurian Cycling Loop, Ogonki
In the locality of Ogonki, within the Węgorzewo Municipality, an investment project was implemented involving the delivery and installation of hybrid LED streetlights at the Cyclist Service Area located along the Masurian Cycling Loop. The aim of the project was to enhance safety and comfort for users of cycling infrastructure, particularly during evening hours.
As part of the project, hybrid LED streetlights with a rated power of 38 W were installed, model HLU-38W/400W/400W/6m. The luminaires emit light with a neutral colour temperature of 4000 K and a high luminous flux of 6100 lm, providing clear and uniform illumination of rest areas and communication routes.
The pole structures were made of S235 steel, in accordance with the requirements of the EN 1090 standard, taking into account the Wind Zone I. This ensures stability and safe operation of the infrastructure in terrain conditions typical of recreational areas.
The lighting system allows for approximately 11 hours of daily operation at full power. The applied energy storage systems provide a minimum of 44 hours of autonomy, corresponding to at least 4 consecutive cloudy and rainy days without access to solar radiation.
The streetlights are equipped with a 5-stage operating mode programming function, allowing percentage adjustment of luminous flux intensity during night-time hours. This solution enables optimisation of energy consumption and adaptation of lighting levels to actual cyclist traffic intensity.
The applied Polish-manufactured LED luminaires meet stringent quality standards, hold ZETOM certification, and are covered by a 5-year warranty. The entire implementation constitutes a durable, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solution, perfectly suited to the tourist character of the Masurian Cycling Loop.
