Lighting of Hazardous Areas – Sosnowiec
A project was implemented in the city of Sosnowiec involving the illumination of areas considered particularly hazardous within public spaces. The scope of the investment included the installation of modern lighting points in locations with an increased risk of incidents, such as tram stops, parks, green areas, and pedestrian crossings.
As part of the implementation, hybrid LED street lamps with a power rating of 38 W were used, designed for autonomous operation under varying environmental conditions. The applied model HLU-38W/400W/400W/6m was equipped with LED luminaires featuring a light color temperature of 4000 K and a luminous flux of 5300 lm (behind glass), ensuring good visibility and comfort for users of public spaces.
The steel pole structures were manufactured in accordance with the EN 1090 standard, ensuring high durability, structural stability, and resistance to weather conditions.
The lighting system allows for operation up to 10 hours per day at full power. The applied energy storage units provide autonomy of up to 40 hours, corresponding to 4 consecutive cloudy and rainy days without access to solar radiation.
The lamps are equipped with a 5-level operating mode programming function, allowing adjustment of the luminous flux intensity depending on the time of night and the specific characteristics of each location.
The applied LED luminaires are manufactured in Poland, meet stringent quality requirements, and hold a ZETOM certification. The complete implementation constitutes an effective and energy-efficient solution enhancing safety and comfort.
