Hybrid Lighting of Municipal Roads – Krzyż Wielkopolski

In Krzyż Wielkopolski, an investment project was implemented covering the construction and reconstruction of municipal roads together with accompanying road and technical infrastructure. A key element of the project was the implementation of modern lighting solutions aimed at improving the safety of road users and pedestrians.

As part of the project, hybrid LED street lamps with a rated power of 38 W were applied. The installed model was HLU-38W/400W/400W/6m, equipped with LED luminaires emitting light with a colour temperature of 4000 K and a high luminous flux of 6100 lm, ensuring very good visibility of the roadway and pedestrian crossing zones.

The hybrid streetlights were fitted with dedicated LED street luminaires, specifically designed for pedestrian crossing lighting. The applied asymmetric light distribution (left-hand or right-hand version) allows precise illumination of the crossing area only, without causing glare to drivers.

The pole structures were made of S235 steel, in accordance with the requirements of the EN 1090 construction standard, ensuring adequate strength, stability, and safe operation of the lighting infrastructure within the road corridor.

The applied Polish-manufactured LED luminaires meet stringent quality standards and are certified by ZETOM. The devices are covered by a 5-year warranty, confirming their high durability and reliability in long-term operation.

The completed investment is an example of an effective combination of road infrastructure modernization with the use of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies, enhancing safety standards and the aesthetics of public space in Krzyż Wielkopolski.
