Active pedestrian crossing lighting – Jastrzębia, road No. 1715W

In the village of Jastrzębia, an investment project was implemented as part of the reconstruction of county road No. 1715W Brzóza – Radom, aimed at improving road traffic safety at a pedestrian crossing. The project focused on increasing pedestrian visibility and providing more effective warning for approaching drivers.

As part of the implementation, 38W hybrid LED street lighting poles dedicated to pedestrian crossing illumination were installed, together with an active D-6 road sign, which is automatically activated upon detection of a pedestrian.

The installed lighting pole model was HLU-38W/400W/400W/6m, equipped with an LED luminaire featuring a neutral light color of 4000K and a luminous flux of over 6100 lm, ensuring excellent visibility of pedestrian silhouettes after dark and in adverse weather conditions.

The hybrid lighting pole is fitted with a dedicated asymmetrical LED street luminaire (left-hand or right-hand version), specifically designed to illuminate only the pedestrian crossing zone. The applied light distribution eliminates driver glare while clearly highlighting the presence of pedestrians on the roadway.

The pole structure was manufactured in accordance with EN 1090 using S235 steel, adapted for operation in the Wind Zone I, ensuring durability and stability of the installation within the road corridor.

The applied Polish-manufactured LED luminaires hold ZETOM certifications and comply with stringent lighting standards, guaranteeing high efficiency, reliability, and long service life.

The implemented solution forms an active pedestrian crossing safety system, which has a tangible impact on improving the safety of road users on county road No. 1715W in Jastrzębia.
