Hybrid Pedestrian Crossing Lighting – Młynki Street, Poniatowa
In the town of Poniatowa, on Młynki Street, an investment project was implemented involving the lighting of pedestrian crossings along a modernized municipal road. The objective of the project was to increase pedestrian safety and improve the visibility of crossings after dark and under limited visibility conditions.
For the implementation, hybrid LED street lanterns with a power rating of 38 W were applied, model HLU-38W/400W/400W/6m, specifically designed for pedestrian crossing illumination.
The lanterns are equipped with dedicated asymmetric LED street luminaires, available in left-hand or right-hand versions. The directional light distribution eliminates driver glare and concentrates the luminous flux exclusively on the crossing zone, ensuring very good visibility of pedestrians.
The pole structures were manufactured in accordance with the PN-EN 1090 standard and designed for operation in Wind Zone I, in compliance with PN-EN 1991-1-4. S355 structural steel was used, and the lanterns were installed on prefabricated F200 V43 foundations with a weight of 500 kg, ensuring high stability and durability of the installation.
The poles were additionally equipped with structures for photovoltaic panels and a boom for a wind turbine. The applied 400 W wind turbine, with blades made of carbon fiber, is characterized by high efficiency and very quiet operation.
The applied Polish-manufactured LED luminaires meet stringent quality standards and hold ZETOM certificates, confirming their safety, durability, and compliance with applicable regulations.
The completed lighting system constitutes a modern, energy-efficient road safety solution, adapted to local conditions and the needs of the residents of Poniatowa.
