Hybrid Bus Stop Lighting – Bdrwice

In the town of Bdrwice, an investment was completed aimed at improving the safety of public transport users through the installation of modern bus stop lighting.

As part of the project, a 40W hybrid LED street lamp, model HLU-40W/400W/400W/6m – EKO, was installed. The solution combines solar and wind energy, ensuring stable and independent lighting operation throughout the year, including periods of limited sunlight.

The LED luminaire was mounted at a height of 6 meters, enabling effective illumination of the bus shelter, passenger waiting area, and the adjacent section of the roadway and sidewalk.

The use of hybrid bus stop lighting:

• increases the safety of passengers waiting for buses after dark,
• improves the visibility of the bus stop for approaching drivers,
• reduces the risk of road incidents and acts of vandalism,
• ensures continuous operation without the need for connection to the power grid,
• aligns with the concept of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly municipal investments.

The implemented hybrid bus stop lighting in Bdrwice is a durable and efficient solution that significantly enhances safety levels and passenger comfort in public transport use.
