Hybrid Lighting of a Tourist and Recreational Path – Bobolice Municipality
As part of the investment project entitled “Construction of a tourist and recreational path through the creation of five parking spaces”, located on plots No. 276/2, Bobolice precinct, and 122, Chociwle geodetic precinct, within the Bobolice Municipality, the supply and installation of modern hybrid LED street lighting was carried out.
The installed lighting plays a key role in improving safety and comfort for users of the tourist path and parking areas, especially during evening and nighttime hours, as well as during periods of increased tourist traffic.
As part of the implementation, 40 W hybrid LED street lanterns were installed, model HLU-40W/400W/400W/6m, designed for autonomous and reliable operation in demanding environmental conditions.
The pole structures were made of high-strength S355 steel and designed in accordance with the PN-EN 1090 standard. The poles, together with the structures for photovoltaic panels and the booms for wind turbines, were adapted for operation in Wind Zone II in accordance with PN-EN 1991-1-4 – marine zone, which is of key importance in areas exposed to:
- strong and variable winds,
- increased air humidity,
- aggressive atmospheric conditions typical of coastal areas.
The use of a hybrid power supply system, combining solar and wind energy, ensures stable lighting operation regardless of the season and weather conditions, which is particularly important in the marine zone.
The poles, weighing over 280 kg, were hot-dip galvanized, providing long-term corrosion protection. The LED luminaires were installed at a height of 6 meters, ensuring uniform illumination of the path, parking areas, and recreational space.
An additional advantage is the mounting frame for the photovoltaic panel together with the boom for the LED luminaire, allowing 360° rotation of the structure around the pole axis. This enables optimal positioning of the panels relative to sunlight and wind direction, maximizing the energy efficiency of the system.
The completed investment constitutes a durable, ecological, and energy-efficient lighting solution, perfectly suited to the character of the tourist and recreational path and the demanding conditions of Wind Zone II – marine, significantly enhancing the safety and attractiveness of the recreational infrastructure of the Bobolice Municipality.
