Hybrid lighting of a pedestrian crossing – Skrzyszów (Małopolskie Voivodeship)
In the town of Skrzyszów, located in the Małopolskie Voivodeship, an investment was carried out aimed at improving safety at a pedestrian crossing through the use of modern, energy-efficient hybrid lighting.
The project included the supply and installation of 40 W hybrid LED street lamps, dedicated to illuminating pedestrian traffic zones. The applied model was HLU-40W/400W/400W/6m-EKO, designed for reliable operation in road infrastructure.
The LED luminaires were installed at a height of 6 m, ensuring uniform and effective illumination of the pedestrian crossing and its immediate surroundings. The applied light distribution improves pedestrian visibility from an appropriate distance while avoiding glare for drivers.
The lamps were mounted on galvanized polygonal poles, made of S235 structural steel. This type of structure is characterized by high corrosion resistance, excellent stability, and long service life, which is crucial within the road lane.
The use of hybrid technology enables efficient utilization of renewable energy while maintaining continuous lighting operation under changing weather conditions. This solution reduces operating costs and increases the independence of the lighting system.
The project in Skrzyszów is an example of a modern approach to improving pedestrian safety, combining durable infrastructure, high-quality lighting, and energy-efficient technologies aligned with contemporary road standards.
