Hybrid Lighting of the Municipal Cemetery – Słodków
In the village of Słodków, an investment was carried out involving the installation of hybrid lighting for the municipal cemetery. The aim of the project was to improve safety and comfort for visitors, especially during evening and morning hours as well as in the autumn and winter seasons.
The project used 50 W hybrid LED street lights, model HLU-50W/520W/400W/6 m. The hybrid solution, combining solar and wind energy, ensures stable and independent operation without the need to expand the power grid.
The lights were installed on round, tapered steel poles made of S355 steel, weighing approximately 280 kg. The structures were mounted on prefabricated F200 V43 foundations weighing 520 kg, ensuring high stability and resistance to wind loads.
The hybrid pole structures were manufactured in accordance with the PN-EN 1090 standard. The poles, together with the photovoltaic panel structure and the wind turbine boom, were designed for operation in Wind Zone I according to PN-EN 1991-1-4.
An additional advantage of the solution is the photovoltaic panel frame with 360° rotation around the pole axis, allowing optimal panel orientation toward sunlight and increased energy harvesting efficiency.
The use of hybrid lighting within the cemetery area:
- ensures safe movement along pathways after dark,
- improves visitor comfort during periods of increased attendance,
- eliminates the need for costly underground power cabling,
- guarantees continuous operation through combined solar and wind energy,
- fits the ecological and modern character of public infrastructure.
The implementation in Słodków represents a durable, energy-efficient, and aesthetically pleasing solution, tailored to the specific nature of a municipal cemetery.
