Modernization of a sports field – Malicki Park, Ochota district
In Malicki Park, within the Ochota district, an investment project was completed involving the modernization of a sports field along with the installation of modern, autonomous lighting. The objective was to extend the usability of the sports facility after dark and to improve user safety and comfort.
For field lighting, 75 W hybrid LED street lights were applied. The installed model was HLU-75W/400W/400W/7m, designed for sports facilities requiring high illuminance levels and stable operation under changing weather conditions.
The LED luminaires were mounted at a height of 7 meters, enabling uniform and effective illumination of the entire playing surface, eliminating shadows and improving visibility during training sessions and recreational games.
The lamps were installed on round, conical-profile poles made of S355 steel. The hybrid pole structure was designed and manufactured in accordance with the PN-EN 1090 standard and adapted for operation in Wind Zone I according to PN-EN 1991-1-4.
The poles were equipped with a structure for photovoltaic panels and a bracket for a wind turbine. The applied frame allows 360° rotation of the panels and the LED luminaire around the pole axis, enabling optimal positioning relative to sunlight conditions and the direction of field lighting.
Each pole has a weight exceeding 300 kg and was installed on a prefabricated F200 V43 foundation weighing over 500 kg, ensuring high structural stability and safe operation in public spaces.
The implemented hybrid sports field lighting constitutes an energy-efficient, ecological, and durable solution, perfectly suited to the recreational character of Malicki Park and the needs of residents of the Ochota district.
