Autonomous Solar and Hybrid Lighting – PORT ŁÓDŹ Shopping Centre

At the PORT ŁÓDŹ Shopping Centre, an investment project was completed aimed at improving safety and user comfort in public spaces through the implementation of modern, autonomous solar and hybrid lighting.

The scope of the project covered pedestrian routes, recreational areas, parking lots, and communication spaces within the shopping centre, which require reliable and aesthetically pleasing lighting after dark while reducing operating costs.

The installation included hybrid LED luminaires with a power of 16 W, model HLU-16W/300W/200W/5m-EKO, as well as solar LED park lamps, model SLO-16W/200W/4m. This combination of solar and hybrid technologies ensures continuous lighting operation regardless of weather conditions and traffic intensity.

Transparent “pinecone-type” LED luminaires provide uniform light distribution, improving visibility of surfaces and pedestrian silhouettes without causing glare. This solution is particularly well suited for commercial and recreational spaces with high aesthetic requirements.

The lamps were installed on decorative steel poles, powder-coated in anthracite color RAL 7016, allowing the lighting to blend coherently with the modern architecture of the PORT ŁÓDŹ Shopping Centre.

The applied lighting system:

• increases safety for pedestrians and parking users,
• improves spatial orientation after dark,
• enhances the aesthetics and prestige of the commercial space,
• operates autonomously without the need to expand the power grid,
• reduces operating costs through the use of renewable energy.

The implementation at PORT ŁÓDŹ Shopping Centre is an example of modern, ecological, and functional lighting, perfectly adapted to an intensively used commercial environment.
