Ecological Lighting of the Volunteer Fire Department – Sanie Ludwików, Aleksandrów Łódzki Municipality

In the town of Sanie Ludwików, within the Aleksandrów Łódzki Municipality, an investment project was implemented involving the installation of ecological lighting for the area of the Volunteer Fire Department. The project was co-financed by European Union funds and serves as an example of the use of renewable energy sources in public infrastructure.

As part of the project, the supply and installation of solar LED park lamps with a power of 2 × 8 W was carried out, designed for maintenance-free and autonomous operation. The applied solution enables effective lighting of the fire station area without the need to connect to the power grid.

Each lamp was installed on a decorative park pole, powder-coated in black according to the RAL color palette, ensuring an aesthetic appearance and resistance to weather conditions.

Two LED globe-type luminaires were installed on each pole, positioned at a height of 3.5 m. This solution allows for uniform illumination of the surroundings of the fire station building, the maneuvering area, and communication routes.

The use of solar park lighting at the Volunteer Fire Department in Sanie Ludwików:

• improves the safety of firefighters and residents using the facility area,
• ensures good visibility at night and in conditions of reduced visibility,
• reduces operating costs thanks to no consumption of grid electricity,
• aligns with the concept of ecological and energy-efficient public investments.

The completed investment in Sanie Ludwików constitutes a functional and aesthetic enhancement of the Volunteer Fire Department infrastructure, raising safety standards and user comfort while respecting the natural environment.
