Solar park lighting – park between Lutomierska Street and Drewnowska Street in Łódź (Stage I)

In Łódź, Stage I of the investment entitled “Improving safety through the construction of solar lighting in the park between Lutomierska Street and Drewnowska Street” was implemented. The project covered a green area located in the immediate vicinity of the Manufaktura shopping center, intensively used by residents and visitors to the city center.

The aim of the project was to increase pedestrian safety, improve the visibility of park pathways after dark, and create comfortable conditions for recreation and leisure in public space.

As part of Stage I, 16 W solar LED park lamps, model SLO-16W/200W/4m, were installed. The lamps were designed for autonomous operation, without the need for connection to the power grid, which is particularly important in green areas.

Decorative “Pinecone” type luminaires were used, harmoniously fitting into the park environment. The LED luminaires were mounted at a height of 3.5 m on stylish park poles, powder-coated in black.

The poles were made of S235 steel, protected by galvanization and powder coating, ensuring high corrosion resistance and long service life. The park pole structures comply with PN-EN 1090 and were designed for operation in Wind Zone I in accordance with PN-EN 1991-1-4.

The lighting system is characterized by high energy reliability:

• a minimum of 11 hours of daily operation under winter conditions,
• a minimum of 44 hours of autonomous operation without access to solar radiation.

An additional advantage is the photovoltaic panel mounting frame with 360° rotation around the pole axis, enabling optimal panel orientation toward the sun and maximizing energy yield.

The applied solar LED park lighting improves user safety, increases comfort after dark, and enhances the aesthetics of this part of the city. The investment represents an экологical and modern solution, perfectly suited to urban parks located in central areas of Łódź.
