Solar Smart Eko City waste bin with UV disinfection – international delivery to Slovakia
A delivery of a modern Smart Eko City solar waste bin was completed to the location Veľké Hoste 50 (95638), Slovakia. The project is an example of implementing Smart City infrastructure that supports ecological and efficient waste management in public spaces.
The Smart Eko City bin is a fully autonomous device, powered by solar energy via a built-in photovoltaic panel. It does not require connection to the power grid, which significantly reduces operating costs and allows installation in virtually any location.
Inside the housing, a UV disinfection lamp is installed, effectively limiting the growth of bacteria and microorganisms and reducing unpleasant odors. The UV system can operate in manual or automatic mode, activated after emptying the bin, which raises hygiene standards in public spaces.
The device is equipped with four fill-level sensors that precisely monitor the amount of waste. The bin status is indicated by LED signaling: green light means empty, while red light indicates a full bin requiring service.
This solution enables optimization of municipal services, reduction of unnecessary trips, and better planning of waste collection schedules.
The Smart Eko City solar bin features a modern design and a durable, vandal-resistant construction, making it ideal for parks, city centers, public squares, and public utility facilities.
The implementation in Slovakia confirms the universality of the solution and its compliance with European trends in sustainable development, ecology, and smart cities.
