Solar Lighting of Municipal Roads – Bonów and Biskupice, Trawniki Municipality

In the villages of Bonów and Biskupice, within the Trawniki Municipality, an investment project was completed involving the supply and installation of solar LED street lights intended for the illumination of municipal roads.

The objective of the project was to increase resident safety and improve visibility on local transport routes, particularly during evening and night hours. The use of solar technology made it possible to implement lighting in areas without access to the power grid or where grid connection would be uneconomical.

As part of the project, solar LED street lights with a power of 15 W, model SLU-15W/200W/5m-EKO, were installed. The LED luminaires were mounted at a height of 4.5 m, ensuring uniform illumination of the roadway and road shoulders.

The lights were installed on octagonal, steel, galvanized poles, characterized by high corrosion resistance and durability in outdoor conditions. The applied structure guarantees stability and safe long-term operation.

The lighting system operates autonomously, using solar energy stored in batteries, which significantly reduces infrastructure maintenance costs and aligns with the principles of ecological and sustainable development.

The implemented solar lighting in Bonów and Biskupice constitutes a practical, energy-efficient, and safe solution, improving the comfort of municipal road use and enhancing the quality of life for the local community.
