Solar road lighting – Krobia, Lubicz Municipality
In the village of Krobia, located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in Toruń County, within the Lubicz Municipality, a project was carried out consisting of lighting a municipal road using solar technology.
The project used a solar LED street light, model SLU-20W/270W/5m – EKO, equipped with a 20 W LED luminaire. The luminaire was installed at a height of 5 meters, ensuring proper illumination of the roadway and the local traffic area.
The lights were mounted on octagonal steel poles, characterized by high structural rigidity and good resistance to wind loads. This type of structure ensures stable and safe operation of the lighting system over a long service life.
The applied solar solution made it possible to install the lighting without the need for cable power supply, which reduced interference with existing infrastructure and lowered operating costs.
The completed road lighting is an ecological and energy-efficient solution that improves road user safety and increases comfort of movement after dark in the village of Krobia.
