Solar lighting of the wastewater treatment plant area – Myślibórz

In the town of Myślibórz, an investment was carried out involving the modernization of the wastewater treatment plant, as part of which modern and environmentally friendly solar LED street lamps were used to illuminate the facility area.

The project included the supply and installation of 20 W solar LED street lamps, model SLU-20W/270W/5m-EKO. The LED luminaires were installed at a height of 5 m, enabling effective and uniform illumination of traffic routes, technological zones, and maneuvering areas within the treatment plant.

The lamps were mounted on octagonal steel poles, made of structural steel and protected by galvanization. This solution ensures high resistance to corrosion, moisture, and aggressive environmental conditions typical of water and wastewater management facilities.

The use of solar street lamps within the wastewater treatment plant area allows for:

• safe movement of employees after dark,
• illumination of critical points of technical infrastructure,
• no need to expand the power grid,
• significant reduction of operating costs,
• independent and maintenance-free lighting operation throughout the year.

Thanks to autonomous solar power supply, the lighting operates reliably even in locations distant from buildings and power infrastructure, making it an ideal solution for facilities such as wastewater treatment plants.

The project in Myślibórz is an example of functional and energy-efficient technical lighting, which increases safety levels, improves working comfort for facility staff, and aligns with the principles of sustainable development and the use of renewable energy sources.
