Solar Lighting of the Skatepark and Pumptrack – Ciechanów

In the city of Ciechanów, an investment project was completed involving the illumination of sports and recreational facilities, including a skatepark and a pumptrack bicycle track. The objective of the project was to increase user safety and extend the usability of sports infrastructure after dark.

As part of the implementation, solar LED street lights with a power of 20 W were used, designed for autonomous operation in recreational areas. The installed model was SLU-20W/270W/5m-EKO, combining high lighting efficiency with energy independence.

The LED luminaires were installed at a height of 5 m, ensuring uniform illumination of the pumptrack course and skatepark riding zones without causing glare to users. The applied lighting improves visibility of obstacles, ramps, and turns, enhancing riding comfort and safety.

The lights were mounted on octagonal poles, characterized by high stability and resistance to intensive use of public space. The pole design performs well in open sports areas exposed to changing weather conditions.

Thanks to solar power supply, the lighting system operates completely independently of the power grid, allowing the investment to be carried out without costly earthworks and electrical connections. This solution reduces operating costs and aligns with the principles of ecological urban infrastructure development.

The applied solar lighting significantly enhances the safety, functionality, and attractiveness of the skatepark and pumptrack in Ciechanów, creating a modern and user-friendly space for active recreation.
