Solar lighting of pedestrian crossings near the DINO store – Jasień, Lubuskie Voivodeship

In the locality of Jasień, located in the Lubuskie Voivodeship (68-320), an investment project was implemented consisting of the reconstruction of a county road combined with the installation of modern pedestrian crossing lighting located in the vicinity of the DINO store. The objective of the project was to improve the safety of pedestrians using crossings in an area with increased traffic intensity.

As part of the project, 25 W solar LED street lamps were installed, ensuring autonomous operation without the need for connection to the power grid. The applied model was SLU-25W/340W/5m – EKO, dedicated to illuminating pedestrian crossings and areas of intensive pedestrian traffic.

The street lamps were equipped with energy-efficient LED luminaires, which effectively illuminate the crossing area, ensuring very good visibility of pedestrian silhouettes both after dusk and under reduced visibility conditions.

The use of solar technology made it possible to implement an ecological and economical lighting system, reducing operating costs and limiting interference with existing technical infrastructure.

The implemented lighting constitutes an important element in improving road traffic safety on the county road in the locality of Jasień, especially in the immediate vicinity of the DINO store, where increased pedestrian traffic occurs.
