Solar lighting of an internal road – Płoskinia Municipality

Within the Płoskinia Municipality, an investment project was completed involving the modernization of road infrastructure through the reconstruction of an internal road along with the installation of modern, autonomous street lighting. The objective was to improve road user safety and enhance travel comfort after dark.

As part of the project, 30 W solar LED street lights were installed. The applied model was SLU-30W/400W/5m – EKO, designed for fully independent operation without the need for connection to the electrical grid.

The LED luminaires provide effective and uniform illumination of the internal road, improving visibility of the roadway, shoulders, and maneuvering areas. The use of solar technology made it possible to implement the project in locations where extending electrical infrastructure would be costly or technically challenging.

The street lights were mounted on steel poles powder-coated in black, ensuring high corrosion resistance, coating durability, and aesthetic integration with the road surroundings.

The solar street lights feature energy-efficient and maintenance-free operation. An integrated photovoltaic system and energy storage ensure stable lighting performance even during periods of limited sunlight.

The applied solution aligns with the principles of sustainable development, reducing road infrastructure maintenance costs and minimizing the environmental impact of the investment.

The implementation in the Płoskinia Municipality serves as an example of effective use of solar road lighting as a modern element of internal road modernization, genuinely enhancing the safety and functionality of local infrastructure.
