Reconstruction of the Municipal Marketplace in Skrwilno – Solar LED Street Lighting

In the town of Skrwilno, an investment project was implemented involving the reconstruction of the municipal marketplace, an important element of which was the introduction of modern and energy-efficient lighting based on renewable energy sources.

As part of the project, the supply and installation of 30 W solar LED street lanterns was carried out. The proven model SLU-30W/200W/5m-EKO was applied, designed for autonomous operation in public spaces with high pedestrian traffic.

The solar lanterns provide an appropriate level of lighting for market alleys, trading stands, and communication routes, which significantly improves the safety of marketplace users during morning and evening hours.

The lighting poles were made of steel and powder-coated in white, which enhances the aesthetics of the marketplace space, improves the visibility of infrastructure elements, and harmoniously fits into the character of the modernized facility.

Thanks to the use of solar technology:

• the lighting operates without the need to connect to the power grid,
• operating costs and energy consumption have been reduced,
• reliable operation has been ensured even in locations with limited technical infrastructure,
• the ecological character of the modernized marketplace has been enhanced.

The 5 m high lanterns were selected to provide uniform illumination of the marketplace area without causing glare for users and vendors.

The completed investment in Skrwilno is an example of the functional use of solar street lighting in municipal commercial facilities, combining improved aesthetics, safety, and energy efficiency.
