Solar lighting of a school sports field – School Complex No. 2 in Piaseczno

As part of the reconstruction of the multifunctional sports field located on the premises of :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0} at Al. Brzóz 26 in :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}, modern solar LED lighting fixtures were implemented to improve the functionality and safety of the sports facility during afternoon and evening hours.

The field is illuminated using 38 W solar LED lamps, model SLU-38W/400W/6m, with luminaires mounted at a height of 6 meters. This configuration ensures uniform illumination across the entire field surface, without shadowed areas and without glare for users.

The applied LED luminaires feature a luminous flux of 6100 lm, high mechanical impact resistance IK09, and ZETOM certification, confirming their suitability for intensively used school and sports facilities.

The solar system provides up to 11 hours of daily operation at full power, while the battery capacity enables a minimum of 44 hours of autonomous operation under conditions of no solar irradiation, including prolonged overcast and rainy weather.

The pole structure is made of S235 steel and designed in accordance with the construction standard PN-EN 1090. The pole and photovoltaic panel support structure are adapted for operation in Wind Zone I in compliance with PN-EN 1991-1-4, ensuring installation stability and safety.

The use of solar lighting for the school sports field enables independent system operation without connection to the power grid, reduces operating costs, and increases facility availability for students and the local community. An additional advantage is the option to set a 5-level operating mode, allowing light intensity adjustment during nighttime hours.

The implementation in Piaseczno represents an example of a modern and eco-friendly solution dedicated to educational and sports infrastructure, combining safety, durability, and energy efficiency.
