38 W Solar LED Municipal Road Lighting – Zgórsko (Nowiny Municipality)
Zgórsko is part of the village of Zagrody, located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Kielce County, within the Nowiny Municipality. An investment was implemented involving the installation of autonomous solar lighting for a municipal road, aimed at improving visibility and road user safety, especially after dark.
The applied solution made it possible to install lighting without connecting to the power grid, which is particularly important in areas with dispersed development and where extending technical infrastructure would involve high costs.
As part of the project, a 38 W solar LED street lantern, model SLU-38W/400W/6m, was installed, designed for stable and maintenance-free operation under variable weather conditions. The LED luminaire was mounted at a height of 6 metres, providing uniform illumination of the roadway.
The lighting system enables approximately 11 hours of daily operation at full luminous output. The applied energy storage system provides a minimum of 44 hours of autonomy, corresponding to up to four consecutive cloudy and rainy days without access to solar radiation.
The lantern was mounted on a steel pole made of S235 steel with a weight of approximately 180 kg, ensuring adequate rigidity and structural resistance. The entire structure was installed on a prefabricated F160 V43 foundation with a weight of approximately 400 kg, guaranteeing stability and safe operation within the road right-of-way.
The completed solar municipal road lighting in Zgórsko represents a durable, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solution that significantly improves resident safety, enhances travel comfort after dark and reduces municipal operating costs.
