Solar Municipal Road Lighting – Dąbie, Łęczyca Municipality

In the village of Dąbie, within the Łęczyca Municipality, a project was implemented involving the reconstruction of municipal road no. 312306 combined with the deployment of modern, energy-efficient solutions based on renewable energy sources. The investment aimed to improve road user safety and increase travel comfort after dark.

As part of the project, solar LED street lanterns with a power of 38 W were supplied and installed. The applied model was SLU-38W/400W/6m, designed for fully autonomous operation within the road right-of-way, without connection to the power grid.

The installed LED luminaires generate a luminous flux of 6100 lm, providing effective and uniform roadway illumination, improving surface visibility and driver orientation during nighttime and reduced-visibility conditions.

The luminaires feature high mechanical resistance IK10 and meet stringent quality requirements, confirmed by a ZETOM certificate. This ensures durability and stable operating parameters under intensive эксплуатаtion conditions.

The lighting system enables operation for approximately 11 hours per day at full power. The applied energy storage systems provide a minimum of 44 hours of autonomy, corresponding to at least four consecutive cloudy and rainy days without access to solar radiation.

The solar lanterns are equipped with a 5-step operating mode programming function, allowing percentage adjustment of luminous flux during nighttime hours. This solution enables optimal energy management and adaptation of lighting levels to local needs and traffic intensity.

The steel pole structures were manufactured in accordance with the PN-EN 1090 standard, ensuring durability, stability, and safe use in road infrastructure. The applied structural solutions provide resistance to weather conditions and long-term operation.

The completed investment in Dąbie is an example of effective use of renewable energy in road infrastructure and contributes to reduced operating costs and improved safety within the Łęczyca Municipality.
