Solar pedestrian crossing lighting – Lisewo, Masovian Voivodeship
In the village of Lisewo, located in the Masovian Voivodeship, an investment project was implemented involving the reconstruction of a municipal road together with the installation of new pedestrian crossing lighting. The objective of the project was to improve visibility and increase pedestrian safety after dark.
As part of the project, solar LED street lights with a rated power of 38 W were installed. The applied model was SLU-38W/400W/5m – EKO, designed for autonomous operation without the need for connection to the power grid.
The street lights provide 8–10 hours of daily operation at full power. The capacity of the installed batteries ensures a minimum of 40 hours of autonomy, corresponding to up to four consecutive cloudy and rainy days without access to solar energy.
A 5-level operating mode programming function was applied, allowing percentage adjustment of the LED luminaire luminous flux during nighttime hours, enabling energy consumption optimization and adaptation of lighting levels to traffic intensity.
The solar street lights are equipped with dedicated LED street luminaires, specifically designed for pedestrian crossing lighting. The asymmetrical light distribution (left-hand or right-hand version) ensures precise illumination of the crossing area without glare for drivers, providing excellent visibility of pedestrian silhouettes.
The applied Polish-manufactured LED luminaires meet stringent quality standards and hold a ZETOM certification, confirming their durability and operational reliability.
The implemented lighting system represents a modern, ecological, and functional solution, significantly improving safety at pedestrian crossings in the village of Lisewo.
