Solar Sidewalk Lighting – Kobielice, Suszec Municipality
In the village of Kobielice, within the Suszec Municipality, along provincial road No. 935 (Pszczyńska Street), an investment project was completed involving the supply and installation of two solar LED street lights intended for sidewalk illumination.
The objective of the project was to improve pedestrian safety, particularly during evening and night hours, along a heavily used provincial road. The use of autonomous solar lighting made it possible to carry out the investment without interference with the existing power grid infrastructure.
As part of the implementation, solar LED street lights with a power of 40 W, model SLU-40W/400W/5m-EKO, were installed. The LED luminaires provide an adequate level of illumination, enabling safe pedestrian movement along the sidewalk and improving the readability of the roadside area.
The lights operate fully autonomously, using solar energy stored in energy storage systems, ensuring reliable operation even during periods of limited sunlight. This solution significantly reduces operating costs and aligns with the principles of sustainable development.
The implemented solar lighting constitutes a functional and environmentally friendly solution that enhances pedestrian traffic safety and improves the comfort of sidewalk use along the provincial road in the village of Kobielice.
