Solar Lighting for a Playground and Outdoor Gym – Źródła Olechówki Park in Łódź

In the Źródła Olechówki Park in Łódź, an investment was carried out to improve the safety of users of the newly built playground and outdoor gym. A key element of the project was the installation of modern, autonomous lighting, enabling safe use of the recreational infrastructure after dark.

As part of the project, 40 W LED solar street lights, model SLU-40W/400W/6m, were applied. The installed luminaires provide a high level of illuminance, evenly lighting activity zones, pedestrian routes, and the area around recreational equipment.

The lamps were mounted on round, conical steel poles made of S355 steel, with a weight of approximately 250 kg. Such a massive structure ensures high stability and resistance to mechanical damage and intensive use typical of public spaces.

The poles were installed on prefabricated F200 V43 foundations with a weight of approximately 500 kg, ensuring safe load transfer and long-term operation of the lighting installation.

The pole structures were designed and manufactured in accordance with the PN-EN 1090 standard. The entire system is adapted for operation in wind zone I according to PN-EN 1991-1-4, ensuring reliable performance in urban conditions.

The photovoltaic panel mounting frame, together with the LED luminaire bracket, allows 360° rotation around the pole axis. This solution enables optimal panel orientation relative to solar exposure and precise direction of the light beam toward key areas of the playground and outdoor gym.

The use of autonomous solar lighting made it possible to implement the project without interference with the power grid, reducing operating costs and aligning with the principles of ecological and sustainable development.

The implementation in the Źródła Olechówki Park significantly increases user comfort and safety, enabling use of the new recreational infrastructure in the evening hours while improving the aesthetics and functionality of the public space.
