Solar Lighting of the Access Road to the Fishing Port – Darłowo (Stage I and II)
As part of the investment involving the construction of an access road to the fishing port in Darłowo, Stages I and II of solar LED street lighting installation were completed. The objective of the project was to provide safe and reliable lighting infrastructure in a demanding coastal environment.
40 W solar LED street lights, model SLU-40W/400W/6m, were installed, designed to operate in harsh weather conditions. The LED luminaires were mounted at a height of 6 meters, enabling uniform illumination of the access road and improved visibility for port users.
The lights were installed on steel poles made of S355 structural steel, designed for Wind Zone II – marine conditions. These structures are resistant to strong winds, storm gusts, and the aggressive coastal environment. The poles were hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated in champagne color, ensuring effective anti-corrosion protection and an aesthetic appearance.
The applied poles hold PN-EN 1090 certification, confirming that the steel structures were designed, manufactured, and inspected in accordance with European construction standards. The PN-EN 1090 certificate guarantees adequate load capacity, weld quality, production repeatability, and complete technical documentation required for infrastructure investments.
Only Polish-made steel poles with full approvals and declarations of conformity were used, intended for road and port applications. This solution eliminates the risk associated with imported structures of unknown origin or elements manufactured without certification, which do not meet safety and durability requirements.
The use of solar street lighting enables autonomous system operation, reduces operating costs, and ensures continuity of lighting even under emergency conditions. The Darłowo project is an example of a durable, safe, and professional solution dedicated to road infrastructure in coastal zones.
