Pedestrian safety in the village of Trębowiec – installation of solar-powered active traffic signs

As part of the project “Together Safely – pedestrian safety in the village of Trębowiec, Mirzec Municipality”, an investment was implemented involving the installation of solar-powered active traffic signs aimed at improving road safety in the area of the intersection.

At the intersection, an active B-20 (STOP) traffic sign and an active A-7 (give way) traffic sign were installed, both powered by solar energy. The signs are equipped with energy-efficient LED modules that clearly and visibly enhance the effectiveness of road signage, especially after dark and in conditions of reduced visibility.

Thanks to autonomous solar power supply, the installation of the signs does not require connection to the power grid, allowing for quick installation and reliable operation throughout the year. Active illumination effectively attracts drivers’ attention, increasing their alertness in a potentially hazardous location.

The use of solar-powered active signs at intersections significantly improves the safety of pedestrians and road users, reduces the risk of right-of-way violations, and supports municipal efforts to develop modern and safe road infrastructure.
